Before founding Granite Wealth Advisors, Brent began his career in financial services in 1998 working for Fiserv (FISV). As a specialist, who consulted investment professionals in both practice management and client acquisition strategies, Brent saw first hand what sets apart the greatest advisors from the noise of everyone else. With that experience in hand, Brent began his career as a wealth advisor at some of the largest firms on Wall Street, including Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. While working at these global brokerage firms, it became apparent to him the inherent conflict of interest between a firm's focus on profits and an advisors ability to offer advice in the best interest of the client. Right then, the desire to start an independent firm with a client-centered focus was conceived.
Brent currently works with successful families, individuals, and institutions in managing all aspects of their financial affairs. In addition to traditional investing, Brent has hands on experience with real estate acquisition, financing, and entitlements. Brent holds a degree in Business Administration and has passed both the Series 7 and 66 securities licensing.
Brent and his wife Krissy have five children and currently reside in Temecula, CA. In their spare time, they volunteer for their church and local sports organizations. Brent and his family enjoy serving in their church, boating together, coaching youth sports, and vacationing together.
